In today's music world of the easy cd and fusion sounds, it's getting more and more difficult to be original.

Electric Angel with 3 brightly colored harps plucked by 3 beautiful gals caught my attention. When I received the press pack and cd I wasn't disappointed.

This is their first cd , self- titled, and as most worthwhile projects will take you away. Notice I didn't send you away. It's as if your soul is permeated with their very feminine being and you are lead away floating on the clean, light, airy sounds of harps to green valleys, pure waters and warm sunrays. Within this little paradise they manage to throw in a good mix of styles.

With all three members composing originals and singing lead parts touching on Celtic, worldbeat, folk and traditional styles you'd think it should be enough variety alone to be worthwhile. Now throw in an absolutely awesome rendition of Stevie Wonders "Higher Ground" {I hope Stevie has heard it} and a very cool jazz Harp rendition of Dave Brubecks "Blue Rondo a la Turk" and you have a project that should be added to your Library no matter what kind of fan you call yourself.

Good production, graphics, and arrangements are all professional yet ,I would be remiss if I didn't mention the vocals. If you're a fan as I am of purity and wholesome old fashioned values then you'll appreciate the way these vocals portray that sweet village girl image of class and loveliness that seems forgotten in today's too cool pop world of trite empty value-less music.

There's more to be said but, by now you've figured out that I recommend this one. Thanks girls -oh and you too guys for the help and allowing the Lady's to stay true to their sound.
