A trio of angels comprises the heart of Electric Angel. Harpists all, on Dream these artists gift listeners with a combination of instrumental and vocal tracks. Although Celtic influences abound, the music on Dream is quite contemporary. Decidedly New Age in theme and focus, the shimmering notes from three harps seem to coalesce into heart-based, light-filled music. The voices of the artists harmonize so gracefully it seems as though there is but one fantastic voice, singing in chords as an angel might.

This San Francisco Bay Area ensemble is composed of Jill Meniketti, Lynne Reardon, and Midyne Spear. Meniketti also plays keyboards. The three share lead vocals, as well as lead harp. Guest musicians contribute drums and percussion, electric guitar, and bass. In addition to several original compositions, Dream includes Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground," Suzanne Ciani's "Velocity of Love," and Dave Brubeck's "Blue Rondo a la Turk." Divinely inspired and beautifully crafted, the music of Dream is not to be missed.
