After listening to this
album, you'll never look at the harp the same way
again. The beauty of this instrument has the potential
to breathe new light on popular music, and Electric
Angel proves that. This trio of amazing musicians
give an awe-inspiring perspective to an instrument
that most people ignored. Rich with a tone that a
guitar player could only dream of, this powerful instrument
has opened my eyes to a whole new world of inspiration.
It doesn't stop there with this album. This music
is simply brilliant. Beautiful harmonies, superior
vocals, masterful arrangements, it's got everything
a music enthusiast could ever want.
Electric Angel is made
up of three amazing women who possess a skill and
unimaginable ability for seeing beyond the everyday
structures of musical compositions and have ventured
out to create a totally new soundscape that is nothing
short of being pure ear candy. Midyne Spear, Jill
Meniketti, and Lynne Reardon make up this trio of
eclectic singers/songwriters/musicians. The lyrics
are very intelligent, which only adds to the power
that this album already possesses. I have yet to be
so inspired and uplifted by an album or by any musicians
the way I have been by this group. I can't imagine
anyone not being blown away by the beauty of this
CD.
